CL05 - Extending the WPS with Object Rexx

Duration: 1/2 Day Instructor: TBD Prerequisites: CL04 or Object Rexx programming experience. Course Description: Object Rexx is a complete object oriented language that adds the power of objects while keeping the ease of Rexx. Object Rexx (ORX) has the ability to use SOM objects as if they were native ORX objects, hence ORX can be used to extend the WPS in certain circumstances. This course covers how to create objects in ORX, how to user SOM objects in ORX and how to add objects created in a ORX program to the Workplace Shell to customize the WPS.
