The Warpstock 2001 Conference will be taking place at the Holiday
Inn Select Toronto Airport hotel. Presentation sessions and exhibits will both be
conducted in the hotel.
Toronto is one of the most interesting of Canadian cities. After
New York and London, Toronto has the largest concentration of live theater in the
world. With eighty ethnic nationalities, Toronto is also the most multi-cultural
city in world. There are also over 5,000 restaurants and over forty other major
visitor attractions.

For those who are going to be in Toronto for the weekend, the Royal Ontario Museum has free admission on Friday
nights from 16:00 until 21:00. 5 hours isn't long enough to see the collections
they have on display, but if you're in town on Friday night, and are sitting around
with nothing to do, it's probably one of the best things you can do in the city
for the price.
Getting there via the subway is simple: on the Bloor-Danforth
line, it's at the station called "Museum".
Contact Brad Barclay
to arrange a gettogether that night with fellow OS/2 users a bit early.
-
As an alternative to the museum for friday evening, you can enjoy
a virtual quicktime tour which works with
QuickMotion version 2.
-
The
CHUM/Citytv building at the corner of Queen and John has become one of the most
recognizable media bunkers in the city...
